Calling All Women! – Article

Calling all humans with double X chromosomes! Now is an exciting time to be a woman, because never before has there been so many companies created by women to support women. And no, this is not a pitch for the Lifetime television channel. But it is a pitch for three diverse and extremely cool organizations that I highly recommend you check out.

The first is An Empowered Woman, a networking community that offers vital business information through hands-on training. Desiree Doubrox, founder, is a dynamic, passionate, and tireless leader with a lifetime of experience as an entrepreneur, and can help you turn your idea into a money-generating endeavor. I just completed a working retreat with her entitled Power of 7, and from her coaching I have a clear blueprint for how to take Kickstart Your Consciousness to the next level.

If you are a woman of color, then DigiVenture is a must. Created by award-winning journalists Joanne Griffith and Christabel Nsiah-Buadi, DigiVenture is a networking and resource portal for women who are looking to add much-needed diversity to the digital media landscape. I attended their first symposium on March 8th, and was impressed by the quality of panelists and expert question-and-answer facilitation by Christabel. Expect great things from DigiVenture.

To scratch your spiritual itch, there is Women on the Edge of Evolution, which is a free, yes, FREE online teleseminar series feature the world’s most extraordinary women who are at the forefront of conscious change. Previous guests include Jean Houston, Alanis Morissette, Lynne McTaggert, Melissa Etheridge, and Marianne Williamson. These are truly amazing people, and to have access to all of these wonderful conversations is a gift.
